I’m Pip Gale, and I grew up surrounded by bottles, stories and customers at the famous Gales Wine Bar (Wales’ oldest wine bar) here in Llangollen. It was founded by my parents and it was never just about what was in the glass. It was about where it came from, who made it and the conversations sparked over it.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to travel many of the world’s wine regions, learning directly from growers and winemakers and building a deep respect for both the craft and the people behind it.

BLAS Wine school is a relaxed and enjoyable way to learn and taste wine. I focus on what is important using simple illustrations, animated maps and storytelling.
